Beach Love

Today is FREEZING and very windy and snowing.
This morning, after my Starbucks run, I headed out to the beach to see what this wintery Michigan day had to offer.

(Sorry, camera phone, a bit blurry)


Waves were high,


and crashing over the pier.


And before I left I saw that the beach sent me a little message.
I say me cause I was the only one crazy enough to be out there. :)


I heart you too beautiful beach.

    Believe me. these photos look beautiful. Just like someone painted them in oil colors.

    And the nature is loving you back. Now, how often does one see a beautiful sunny heart in a grey sky gleaming with light! It is a sign. Good times are near!

    Awwwww.....your beach misses you, sis!!! ♥ I was so surprised to see sand out there and NO snow! It must all blow inland? I can remember being out to the lake in the winter when I was a child, and seeing part of the lake totally frozen over with huge ice peaks. We had to trudge through huge snow drifts to get to the water's edge. :) Hope you're all snuggled in for the rest of the day! :)

    Its all covered with ice and snow here for the next few months...but there is hope for the suns rays to melt them into a 'beachy haven" once again.
