On my list of things to do...eventually. I always say this is the year I will really do a fabulous wrapping job. But I think that may be next year again, ha ha.

I haven't done any wrapping if it makes you feel better!! One more day of the kids in school...I better do it tomorrow.
Thanks for popping by my blog. I did laugh after learning it was dh, and not my driving. :) Off to clean up for three more parties and tutoring. I think a glass of vino is in order for the evening!

I see I'm not alone. Good luck to all of you! Looks like we need it :)

I'm keeping it simple and only doing brown paper packages. I've never done that before so think it will be fun!

Thanks for the reminder! Have a happy one!

xx,
Michelle

I haven't started wrapping yet. I've been busy making fleece blankets for the grandchildren, but they have to go to the post office tommorow...So, I will start wrapping then. It's one of my least favorite things to do. Probably because I'm not good at it!

Oh my. I have to say..., I'm glad we don't do gifts at all -without kids that's easy to do. I have all the time thinking about great foods to make instead, haha.

Luckily, I have been wrapping as I buy things. I still have to finish my shopping though :(

Amen sister! I start out all gung ho and it just seems so fun with Bing Crosy singing in the background and then about an hour into it I am just slapping that tape on as quickly as possible! I have to do it a little at a time so I don't burn out. I'm sure you have all sorts of lovely creations you are going to be showing us though! :-)

I get wrapping-paper sickness!!! We have so many presents to wrap at Christmas I put it off and off until I make myself sit down and do it ALL at once.

LOL I feel like #2 also! I always have the best intentions with elaborate wrapping but do it simple every year. I just run out of steam. Have a great weekend!

I need to work on the wrapping part too :-) Congratulations, you're the winner of my giveaway Michelle! Will the email address here on your blog be the right one to give to the company that hosted the giveaway?

Yes, and I am with you! You know what I get is those little picks at the Dollar Tree, they actually really look nice tied with a bit of raffia! XX!

Sarah @ Modern Country Style said...

How's the wrapping going, Michelle? I did a ton last night and I thought of you! I think I will save the fancy wrapping just for my friends who will appreciate it - not my children who just want to rip it off!!!

i haven't even started all the wrapping!! so much to do! thanks for visiting my blog recently. i have enjoyed perusing yours.....the post about your open heart surgery brought back memories of my hubby's quadruple bi-pass 3 years ago. i know all about those chairs that "kind of recline". what a difficult time for you, especially not being able to hold your new baby. thanks for sharing.

A few here and there
I think my neighbor are going to trade babysitting so we can finish it without someone sneaking in on us.
Good Luck :)

I just visited a friend from Norway's blog and she'd recently won a sign from Ramsign too. She just posted a photo. I thought you might want to take a look at it in case you want some ideas. Her name is Sylvia and her blog is:

She has google translator at the top of her blog to help (it isn't always right though).
