Sunshine On My Shoulders.....

...makes me happy!!!
I love John Denver, he was always my favorite guest on the Muppet Show!!  :)
He was an amazing singer and songwriter, and another brilliant soul taken too early.

The sun has been shining here for a couple days but it is too cold to go out and thoroughly enjoy it.
I am longing for the days where I can go to the beach and feel the warmth of the sun on my shoulders, my feet buried in the sand and listening to sound of the water, making this girl VERY happy!!

Since it is supposed to snow again this weekend I thought I would leave you with some rays of love shining down to warm you up.

Have a wonderful and warming weekend.

*Thank you so much for all your kind comments about my Papa's carvings. It means so much to me that I can share them with you.
I also wanted to apologize for the confusion, my Papa is my grandpa, I called my grandparents Grammy and Papa, sorry about that.

Sigh....makes me long for spring and summer. Although our winter has been so mild this far I really shouldn't complain. LOL.

Well, that's one more thing we have in common, lil sis! Did you know that I have almost every one of JD's cds?? I remember driving my old Duster (yeah...a car) singing to his tapes. I STILL love listening to his music while I'm blogging or crafting. The pictures that play in my mind while I hear his voice is about wildlife, God's nature, and the beauty that surrounds me. I miss him...

Ahh, so nice to see that! It is cold here and it snowed about an inch yesterday. I am hoping it gets warm because the puppy has to go out every two hours! I am so exhausted!

Oh yeah.....how I long for the sun on my face, and the sand in my toes.
I guess I'll settle for the snow in my hair, and the wind in my face.
Life is good.
Smooches.
