Taking a Leave

Hello everyone!
I hope you are all well.
I wanted to tell you that after long and heartfelt thinking, I came to a decision that I need to take a long break from blogging.  My heart has been telling me things here and there and after an ER visit the other day, I decided it was literally screaming at me.  Everything checked out well but I am being monitored right now to make sure that they aren't missing anything.

If you are new here, about 6 years ago I had two heart attacks and open heart surgery due to my pregnancy.  Everything turned out well in the end and I have felt really good but it seems like stress and whatever seems to settle into my chest which gives me the feeling of having a heart attack, panic attacks and just weird palpitations.  Things have always checked out good but I need to stop feeling like this and start taking care of me.  I need to concentrate on my health and my family for now.  I will visit from time to time because I love you all and you have been nothing but supportive and wonderful friends and you inspire me.

I hope to come back, but I think it will be a while before I post again, well except for May 1, I was invited to join Stacey at A Sort of a Fairytale for a house tour a few months ago, I am excited for that, she is so sweet.  So I will be doing that, but otherwise not so much in between and after for a bit . I am very sorry and believe me it was a hard decision and after talking to some friends, I think it is the right one for now.

I hope everyone stays well and enjoys their Spring and thank you again from the bottom of my wonky heart, you are a wonderful community of friends.

I will see you again!!!

I think you are amazing to come to such a decision. You know what is truly important and I hope one day I am courageous enough to do the same thing when the situation calls for it. I will be here if you decide to come back but know I am amazingly encouraged by you and pray the absolute best for you and your family!

Thank you for listening to that voice inside of you and taking care of yourself. You can not take care of others if you aren't well yourself. So that is definetely the best gift you can give to your family and of course all us bloggers know that they always come first. I will be praying for peace and joy for you my friend!! I will miss seeing you, but I know you will be back when the time is right. No hurry. Love you girl!! :)

I am going to MISS YOU SO MUCH. But you must take care of yourself my sweet. Too many young people these days are having way too much stress and that is taxing on the heart. I too get heart palpitations and my chest pains and stomach aches were very instrumental in making me come to the decision that I have to quit my HIGH STRESS teaching job! YES!

OK, we are here when you need us. Please rest up and let us know how things work out for you precious Michelle....Anita

Go on Michelle and take this much needed break. Often, we start to blog to take a break from our everyday work and then end up feeling like blogging itself is a task. I know what you mean.

I wish you a healthy heart and I know you will be back.

I'll dream about your beautiful house till then. Love ya.

I think you are awesome for listening to yourself and to take a much deserved break. Women, especially mothers, often do not listen to their inner self and suffer. Good for you. You will be missed but know that you will be thought of. I personally will miss your paintings and DIY projects. For not ever having met you I think we have a lot in common...even heart problems-not as serious as you but was diagnosed with non specific, unsustainable Tachicardia after my HR reached 185 while warming up to workout. After much testing which I am sure you are familiar with the doctors cannot find a reason why...I am not overweight, no family history of heart disease etc. I understand how you feel...take a break. You deserve it and your family will benefit from it.

Know I am thinking of you and wish you the best!

I've always been amazed how you do it all! Kids, family, projects, misc and blogging. I have no kids, no projects (really) and still have to be careful not to get into "overdrive", but take it slow, and yes listen to the heart. Funny how such an important thing is not always the easiest to achieve. You go girl! But slowly... xoxo Maya
