What I Love About Fall

I know that we are still squeezing out the last of summer but I am so excited about Fall!!
Fall is my favorite time of the year and here in Michigan I can see that the leaves are already starting to turn a bit and the acorns are falling on our house.

Here are a few images of fall that just say cozy love to me!!!

Enjoy!!!

My favorite is cuddling up on a chilly night by the fire watching a great movie with my family.
As I say good bye to summer, I most certainly welcome in the fresh fall air and colors.

Enjoy your last weekend!
Be safe and I will see you next week!!!

LOVE the cozy fireplace, autumn boardwalk and the warm cozy looking sweaters... and those UGGS are just the ones I'm planning on getting! Saw them last winter and loved them...

Even though our summer was a bit short, I always look forward to Fall!

Ooo - I just did a Fall post too. Great minds must think alike. Love me some cozy sweaters!! And can't beat a nite in front of the fire. Alas - our flue doesn't work - so we use candles...

Too funny...I was just walking my dog, thinking that the air smells different, and noticing that the leaves are indeed changing color:) Fall is my favorite time of year also. I love baking apple pies and apple cakes, making stews and chilis! I can't wait to haul out the fall decor!!!

Have a great night!

I hate winter - outside. Inside, I love all the things you've shown -- just add a pot of homemade soup and some cornbread or a fresh loaf and I'm a happy camper! And nothing is prettier than our Michigan autumns.

I've always loved autumn..in fact it once was my favourite season. Then I became such a baby for the cold..and summer became my favourite.
All the seasons have their own beauty but autumn is a cozy one for sure, and the colours are glorious!
Love your photos and your "fall loves".
I totally agree with you on all these things.
Oh doesn't that firplace look cozy?!
Cup of chai my sweet friend? I think theres room for two on the couch by the fire. :)
Love you dearly xoxo

Mmmmm...I love all your fall photos, especially the boardwalk and the fireplace. I do love the fall, but I hate the dreariness afterwards and then the cold, cold winters in Michigan. I love the snow, but the cold seems to get to me more and more. So...I pile on pretty sweaters! Love the ones you show here.

Yes, Fall is definetly my fave time of the year. Uggs is what I will live in when it cools down here (which seems like it will be awhile) ;) I think my favorite picture is the fireplace and I agree watching a movie with the family all snuggled in at home...it's the best. Have a splendid long weekend with your family.

Looking forward to Fall, too.

Hello Michelle! I hope you had a fun Labor Day weekend! :)

I love your fun fall pictures, and those boots are SO cute! :)

I am having a hard time feeling ready for fall, because our summer {as far as the weather is concerned} has just truly started in the month of August! But there is part of me that is thinking about cozy sweaters and boots...especially after reading this post... :)

I hope you have a great night and a wonderful Tuesday! :)

Hugs,
Jenni

Hi Michelle, I'm trying not to be jealous here... Autumn is my favorite too, but we don't have that season here! So feel free to rave about fall all you want so I can take it all in :)

I'm sad that summer is coming to a close, but I'm trying to get excited about Fall. I like being able to wear my jeans again. They suck things in so much better than summer clothes do, lol!
Have you ever owned Ugg boots? If yes, are they worth the money? They look so wonderfully cozy, but I've never spent to much on shoes ever!

I've just been catching up on all your previous posts! I'm late to comment on the shark room but I just had to tell you how much I love it!

I know you are having a bloggy break this week but if you ever feel like linking up this great Pinterest-inpsired post to my pinterest linky party I would be honoured! It's on every weekend and I start it on Fridays and it finishes on Tuesdays.

Have a great time at the wedding and enjoy your break!

Best wishes,
Natasha.
