I just want to thank everyone for their kind and sweet comments about my hutch and kitchen! It really means so much to me to hear from all of you! I am loving my kitchen and the feeling it gives when I walk into my home. Of course, as you all know, the re-re-doing doesn't ever stop at one room!! :)
I am in love with the color that I chose for my hutch (Wood Smoke by Glidden) and the way that it transformed it as well as the things around it, (it really is amazing what a coat of paint can do)
I have been eying some other hutch/cabinet/cupboard transformations and wanted to take today to show you a few of my favorites!
Amy at WhisperWood Cottage transformed a medical cabinet and desk to create this beauty! You have to see her before and after! She actually did a re-redo as well!
Mike and Melanie over at The Frosted Gardener transformed this beautiful hutch that she picked up at a second hand store. You HAVE to see the before and after! Actually you HAVE to browse through all their before and afters they are so amazing, my jaw drops at every piece that they transform!!
Maria from Dreamy Whites acquired this beautiful cupboard, fixed it up a bit and has displayed some beautiful things! Check out her post and lovely blog on how she has changed it up! Her blog is very dreamy so be prepared to spend some time there!
I saw this beautiful transformation on one of the link parties from Domestically Speaking last week and had to double take on it because the top part is exactly like mine!! Cara and Ann Marie from Twice Lovely turned their and hutch and dresser into this beautiful French Country piece! Look at all the detail they added!
And Kathie over at A Few Good Pieces brought together her hutch and dresser and created this gorgeous piece!! I Just love the detail on the top!
I hope you enjoyed a few of my favorite pieces and please go check out their websites, their blogs are every bit as wonderful as their creations!!
Next I will show you what I was up to this past weekend!
