A little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That

Any one sick of winter and snow and this crazy weather that we have been having all over the world,
please raise your hand!!

Yeah, I thought so!

Yikes!

We got quite a bit of snow and we were snowed in today but the sun actually did shine for most of the day so that was nice.

I hope those that got hit with the snow are safe and warm.

Please keep those in Australia that are going through a MAJOR, MAJOR devastation right now in your prayers.

You can keep up to date from A-M over at The House that A-M Built.
She has been giving updates and it is just sad to see what is happening over there.

Today while we were snowed in I started on my next project,

My bedroom!!

I know, I know!

But Michelle, didn't you JUST paint your bedroom a couple of months ago??

Why the answer would be yes!

I think I need some serious PA - Painters Anonymous!! :)

I think I heard my hubby say something about an intervention!!

Needless to say I really needed my beachy blues back!
I really liked the coziness of the gray but I am a beach girl and the blues just suit me.

I painted today and I chose one of these colors...

Can you guess which one I chose?

I will show you..

soon!!! :)

hee hee!!!

I also wanted to thank you for your wonderful comments abouts my puff ball flowers over at the Be Mine Bonanza at At Home with K.

I had fun making them and those little suckers are kind of addicting!!!

Thank you again Kindra for hosting!!

I also wanted to thank Cathy over at Check it Off and Brandi over at Don't Disturb This Groove for passing on awards to me!
Please visit these wonderful ladies if you have not already.

Cathy was born in Michigan and now lives in Ohio but we found out that we share that same love of a particular lake where my heart and soul belong!
Glen Lake!!
She is so wonderful and talented and her love of life and the outdoors is so inspiring!

I introduced myself to Brandi a while back after seeing her beautiful picture and sweet comments at blogs that we both follow and she was so sweet and inviting and I am enjoying getting to know her! She is very talented (check out the chair cover she just did here, it is so amazing!) and so very sweet!

I am supposed to tell you some things about me, which you can read here and of course I pass this along to all of you that would love to join in and tell us about you!
I know it say it a lot but I really do love getting to know you!!

Thank you again to all of you for following me and inspiring me and just being my friends!!

See you soon with the paint color that I chose!

Stay safe and warm!

The weather has been a bit wacky lately. I would love some sunshine to boost my spirits.

I'd say you picked Shoreline Mist. It was very misty for me at the shore that's for sure! Love you new font and header :)

Good morning dearest heart! Oh, I know which color you chose!!!!! The grays and whites go very well with this color, I know because I am so torn between the three colors, but I am learning how to use them all together!!!! AND I cannot wait to see what you dish up this summer, with your beachy vision! OH I need to go visit some friends in the Land Down Under....ANOTHER DEVASTATION?????? I must run and see...and pray of course. Blessings to you and isn't this winter just one of the worst for the whole world???? BISES, Anita

I've been painting up a storm too! What got me started was a hole we patched in our powder room (removed the toilet paper holder) and then discovered we didn't have any of the original paint left! Doy! Then my hubby put in new lights in the family room and let me tell you...lighting is everything! I hate what the lighting does to the paint color! I was happier in the dark! So now after I've tried every light bulb out there...it's time to paint AGAIN!
I guess the good thing is that I'm getting better at it.
Can't wait to see this paint color! All three are beautiful and soothing.
Have a great weekend!

All the names sound really good, haha! I don't think I ever bought a color that didn't have a sea related name. And I'm sooooooo curious!!!!
Have a great and warm weekend!

GOOD EVENING MICHELLE! It is finally Friday and I am so happy....tired, but so happy because I am going to play with my new rooms tomorrow! I am going to try to make a rough draft of my next post, but my eyes are failing me! THANK YOU PRECIOUS FOR YOUR VISIT TODAY! We actually had great weather today! No snow, and the temps warranted a second recess for the kids in beautiful 35 ABOVE zero temps!!!!

KEEP WARM, Anita

Ahh pretty colors! They are beautiful, but my guess would be that you chose Sea Spray! Your room is gonna be so pretty, I can just tell.

Thank you for the kind words Michelle! You are so very, very sweet!

I can't decide what you're going to choose. I'll go with the shoreline mist since you want to "lighten" it up a little. Can't wait to see the results. Then afterward swing on by my house...since you're so paint happy. LOL
