I want to thank you all for the sweet comments on the blog award. I truly can't tell you how much it means to me!! Blogging has been a blessing in disguise for me and I am blessed for all the friends that I have met and I look forward to making more!
O.K.
I went junkin on Sunday, all by my lonesome,
(sad face)
Hubby decided that he was too sore from raking on Saturday that he didn't want to walk around all day.
No problem.
It was the last market of the season and there were also less vendors than last month. I saw a few things that I LOVED, I needed to had won the lottery for some of them though!
As I was making my way out, still empty handed, I spotted these little beauties!
$15!!
Not each, TOGETHER!!!!
They were perfect in every way!! I love shutters and the brown stain matched the Pet Milk Co. box that I have as well as the Nantucket Sign that I made!
WOO HOO!!!
I didn't have to do anything to them!
Well, I did wipe them up, they were pretty dirty!
I knew eactly where I wanted to put them...
I love them there!!
They warm up the window and just makes the little corner feel cozy!
The right side hits the shelf and I can't really move the shelf any farther over.
I don't mind it though.
I also wanted to share this picture with you,
not really sure what goes through my pets minds sometimes...
Really??

Oh those look so cute! What a great idea! I have saloon doors that were on my laundry room doorway that I don't know what to use them for. All of our windows in our house are too tall to put them on and look right. Any other ideas for them?
So fun! They look great! I would of went junkin' with ya! ;) Your kitty is too funny! I have the same kitty bowl too!
They do look good right where they are.
The photo of your cat is too funny.
Kitty is diving into the food bowl alright, haha!!! The shutters are great, a perfect fit!

With all my heart...Deborah xoxoxo
Love the shutters Michelle, they look great! And your kitty is too funny. I have a lab who is rather partial to his food; are you sure that cat isn't a dog in disguise? K xx
The shutters look so cute on that window. I love that room. That little bit of wood tone looks so great with all the white. Your cat cracked me up. What goes through their little minds?
Those shutters are a great find and I love that you kept that warm color. They look beautiful!
Hi Michelle! Those shutters look so great! They give an extra layer of dimension to the space and really add so much warmth. I added shutters to a painting behind my daughter's crib to make it look like a window and I just love the kind of character they bring to a space!

Ha, we have that kind of kitty, he lays on his back with his legs in the air in a corner of our bedroom, so weird! These shutters are such a great find, and I'm so excited because I also just bought a pair of shutters at Habitat for Humanity, they are a distressed black, and I am planning to hang them in our sunroom, Mr. Deer doesn't quite get it, but now I can show him how great your shutters look! XX!
Ooh, Look at that awesome find! I'm jealous! I never find stuff like that -- you luck girl! :) Can't wait to see where they go!
GORGEOUS!!!! I love those shutters!! So so charming! I bought two pieces at a flea market that were salvaged off an old piano- I was thinking of using them as shutters too. Yours look great!!! I came over from Vanessa's- I'm having a decorating inspiration party at my blog too if you feel like joining in~ nice to meet you! :)
Those look great! Your room is beautiful! I just put some shutters on our windows in our master bedroom. I love them!
First off your blog is so cute. I love your header! And wow what a find. Those shutters are perfect in that spot. I can't imagine the space without them.
Oh, yes! They look perfect flanking that window.

Oh how awesome! Your find is fabulous and I totally share your sentiment about old shutters. They're perfect in your cute dining area! I recently posted about the shutters I found for $5 each and I bought every single one of them (total of 6). Love the shutters and they look great there....as for kitty, I understand, I think I feel the same way some times. ;)
The shutters just frame your window and really set it off. I love the natural wood with white. Sometimes, all white rooms can look like their floating and sterile...the wood brings it down to earth and warms it up.
Very cute; love it!

When we moved into our house, we had saloon doors in our bathroom---WHY????---now I wish I would have saved them, but I was coming from Sunny So Cal and land of clean crisp new homes...I was NOT into junkin'...fast forward a few years and I actually know who has them and consider reclaiming them!
