Christmas Kitchen Peek and Guest Posting

Hello my lovelies!
I hope that this week is treating you well! I see you are all busy little bees starting your Christmas decor as well as getting ready for Thanksgiving next week!

Today I am guest posting over at Low Tide High Style.
Kat is such an amazing photographer and writer!
If you have not seen her blog yet, it is a must, she is just an amazing friend with a beautiful heart.
She has a gift for putting together inspirational words with her beautiful photography.
She has recently taken a small break from blogging to focus on her family and invited me over to share a few of my thoughts!

I thought that I would also give you a little peek into my Christmas kitchen that I have been working on this week!

I just love Picnik!
Hopefully I am not annoying you with all my playing around with textures!

I also picked this little-ish beauty up for $5.00 at the Restore!

I will give you one guess as to what it is going to be!

(see the mess in the background? That is why you are only getting a sneak peek at my kitchen)

I love it all, can't wait to see it completely done. You seem to have such a effortless style that I reall admire. Your touches of christmas are beautiful, firewood has never looked so pretty!

p.s. On a side note I noticed in your second photo that you have a wall pocket hanging up. I've been thinking about picking one up for ages and am wondering how you like it. Do you find it useful or is it one of those items you regret buying? Thanks for you help. hugs Robin

Hi Michelle! Oh my goodness that photo of the wreath looks like it belongs on a Christmas card! I have to tell you that you have really inspired me to play around a little bit more with some of my Christmas decor and be looking for ways to add some more charm and character, especially in our kitchen and breakfast nook area. You are just doing an amazing job and I can't wait to see what you end up doing with your awesome find!

Hi! I can't believe I haven't run across your blog before. I am popping over from Welcome Wagon and am so excited by your blog. BTW, I have been trying to decide if I wanted to upgrade my Picnik and after seeing some of your textures I decided to go ahead and do it.

Michelle,

How weird...I thought I commented on this ages ago but my comment is no where to be seen. I think Google should be called Gobble instead!! It's always Gobbling my things up!!

What's that board going to be?????? I hate waiting for things like this! Will it be a sledge for all the snow you're bound to get over Christmas?!

Your style really speaks to me.

Hey Michelle! Your Christmas decor is lovely. It will be a bit for a put mine out this year. I, too, like the black tub with firewood - too cute! Great job on your Re-Store find...my guess is a chalkboard of somekind. I have one on my project to-do list...just not sure when it will get done! Can't wait to see what you end up doing with it! Happy Friday! ~Iris~

Hi Michelle! Just coming back over to say thank you for linking this loveliness up to the party this week! :-) I have to tell you that I saw some ice skates in a store this week and thought, "those aren't nearly as cute as Michelle's ice skates in her kitchen!" :-) You've got some great style my friend!

Since I have been trying to come up with some ideas to spruce up my porch, I especially was drawn to your firewood display. So inviting! It makes you want to go build a fire! I would love for you to join my link party at http://firstadream.blogspot.com/

Love what you did in the wash boiler, is it considered stealing or borrowing if I do the same thing? Cause I am going to "borrow" it!
