Holiday Decorating

This week I am decorating for Christmas, I know I already started but I am on a mission now! The 60 degree days are over and now they are calling for snow this week.

YEAH!

I picked up some cute little things last week that I am excited to show you and I hopefully will be working on some handmade items as well!

Below are a couple little things that I picked up this morning at Meijer.

Shhhh....

I was supposed to be grocery shopping (which I dread) but they had all these wonderful Christmas decorations!!

I picked up the two twig trees, all wrapped up in beautiful burlap, and those adorable red skates!

I think the trees would be easy to make as well, but I opted to buy!
If you make any, I would LOVE to see!!

I couldn't resist the ice skates, they were perfect and add a pop of red to the window!

And of course I had to play around with Picnik and the textures!

The kids, my mother-in-law and I picked up a TON of pine cones last week and I have been busy putting together some things with them!

And,

don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the little giveaway I mentioned, just a little something to say thank you!!

I will be back later this week with it!

Have a wonderful Monday!

I love those trees and those skates. I will not be making any though. I purged my junk closet yesterday. Blogging takes up so much room in your house. I may have to purge some more! :)

Love the skates, too cute, and Sutter Home sign, great! The trees are something I would probably buy as I don't think I would have the patience for something like that. How did the show end up going? I hope well and I hope your Mom is getting along well. Off to get the girls to school and then get my butt kicked at the gym! Have a great day!

So cute! You have such a great eye. I am wanting to find some cute cheap little Charlie Brown Christmas trees - I think they have so much character! Hope the start to your week is wonderful!

I love all your new things. I think the skates and the little trees have a bit of an Alpine village feel.

I just stumbled across your blog this morning..You are one good crafty chic.

I found the re-do on your bedroom and it looks great, but, the funny part is I have a nuetral bedroom now and was walking around in my bedroom yesterday thinking I needed to change it to my dining room colour which is the same colour as your old bedroom... I am going to change it up in reverse......Any how I look forward to more posts from you.

How cute, Michelle! You find the best little trees. Perfect beside your sink. I love the pop of color the skates add, as well. Sure wish we had a Meijer's. I don't think I ever ended up with food by the time I made it to the check out aisle :)We lived in the Chicagoland area (St. Charles-Elgin) for years. Miss it (and friends) but we love the CO sunshine. Great Christmas finds!

Those trees are great! Can't wait to see what you are doing with your pinecones. I will be collecting some thanksgiving weekend. (Since I don't live by pine trees!!!)

Those little trees are adorable, and I love how you hung those skates above your sink! And I know I already said this, but that sweet sign behind your sink is amazing! I just love it combined with the white in your kitchen in the picture! :)

Thank you also for your kind words about the clothespins! I so much appreciate it! :) And I hope you have a wonderful day!

Blessings,
Jenni
