Thank you all so much for all your WONDERFUL comments on my Christmas decor!!
I think that my wood-filled copper turned black tarnished bucket is my favorite!
(not sure what they are called)
I also teased you with this the other day..
I picked it up at the Restore for $5.00!
It is 4 1/2 feet tall and about 2 1/2 feet wide and
HEAVY!!
I have no idea what it was. My only guess is some sort panel or table. The middle felt like leather, but hard,
I don't know,
anyway,
You all guessed what it was going to be
(so smart!)
I put a couple coats of chalkboard paint in the middle and left the frame untouched.
I added a white barn star and some greenery and set in on top of my side table for some added height to the room!
And of course my texture picture!
I really would love Photo Shop one day but I hope I am able to show you a bit of what Picnik can do and all the different variations of textures and tuning with the upgraded version.
I hope are all having a wonderful weekend!!
Don't forget about my giveaway, I will be drawing the winner on Tuesday!

I bought some mercury glass acorns at Walmart today. I just love them! I'm so glad I learned about them from your blog. Now the fun starts....playing around and figuring out where to display them!
That's exactly what I would have done with it. :) Love it.

I love that chalkboard and the entire vignette :-)
The star is perfect at the top too. I'm loving your blog!

Hi Michelle, such a cool chalk board, and an awesome size! The copper pot, it's called a boiler. I didn't know when I did my post I called mine a copper trough. I painted mine white, everyone loved it. Then some bloggers were calling it a boiler pot, they also come with lids. The other day I saw one with a lid in an antique store I pointed out to my husband it was 80 dollars. I love what you did with yours, the black looks gorgeous. tami
Oooh, I love the way you styled it too, looks fabulous, Michelle! Great job! XX!
I love stars, so yours caught my eye right away. I love the large chalkboard, and the star and greenery are the perfect touch for it. That cute little sled under the table is adorable too.
Thanks for linking up! What a great project for your $5 find. I love the whole vignette!

So it wasn't a sledge after all?!! But I see you've added a little sweet one under the table. This whole area looks so gorgeous, Michelle.
And a very nice chalkboard it is too!

Hey Michelle - love the chalkboard! You find the best things and make them into amazing! Hope you are gearing up for Thanksgiving week. We sure are! We have received a blanket of snow and the weather is getting super cold!
Your vignette with the chalkboard looks awesome -belongs in a magazine!!!!
You did a fabulous job on it! I have a frame saved for a future chalkboard so I may email you for some tips before I begin my project! Looks great and I know you love it! :-) Happy Monday! ~Iris`
Your chalkboard makes such a great addition to your holiday display. It all looks so fresh and festive.
p.s. I've got to get working on a chalkboard of my own - I keep telling myself that, yet I keep putting it off. Then I see fabulous displays like yours and I start kicking myself that I haven't done it yet.
Now that is some serious cuteness!!! I LOVE the size & shape!!!
Hi Michelle! That chalkboard turned out just beautifully! You really have the knack my friend! Are you going to be with family this week? I hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving! Vanessa
